Riyadh: Hundreds of Saudi Oger workers rallied to demand their unpaid salaries which have been pending for more than seven months.
The police in the city of Mecca intervened to disperse the protest and restore public order.
Labour Ministry media spokesman Khalid Abal-Khail said the issue of unpaid salaries is under investigation.
The ministry cut off a number of services to Saudi Oger company last March for failing to pay workers for four months.
Saudi Oger Ltd. is a Saudi-based construction company, incorporated in January 1978, with its headquarters in Riyadh.
