CENTRAL defeated Abu Saiba 4-2 in Group Three as both teams qualified for the second stage of the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and the First for People with Disabilities league.
Ahmed Abdul Rasool, Ebrahim Al Muqla, Abdullah Abdul Wahid and Mohamed Al Sakran each scored once for Central while Jaffan Al Banai and Abdullah Mahdi scored for Abu Saiba.
The result sees Central finish as group leaders with seven points from three games, while Abu Saiba sit in second place with six points.
Busaiteen and Isa Town bowed out of the competition by finishing in third and fourth, respectively.
Sanabis lead the table in Group Four after a 3-1 win over second-placed Karbabad.
Zuhair Ahmed, Ahmed Alawi, Abdullah Hussain all managed to get on the scoresheet for Sanabis as Ali Abdul Ameer scored Karbabad’s only goal.
The second match of Group Four saw Buhair down Sanad 8-4.
Buhair’s Ahmed Al Khayat credited four goals to his name as his team mate Omar Hassan scored twice. Abdullah Banami and Ahmed Hussain scored one each to end Buhair’s goal scoring.

Sanad’s Ali Abdulhussain also scored twice alongside Hassan Abdulaziz and Isa Hamad who managed to score one each.
The round of 16 will see Central face Karbabad while Abu Saiba will take on Sanabis.
The preliminary round of Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League ends today with four matches taking place in Group Seven and Group Eight. In Group Seven, Al Zallaq will go up against Ras Ruman at 5pm, while Zayed Town will face Al Naim an hour later.
Group leaders Zallaq currently have four points from two games, but have a better chance of qualifying for the next round than their opposition, Ras Ruman, who only have two points.
Zayed Town sit in last place with only one point but their chances are still alive when they meet Naim who have two points.
In Group Eight, Salmabad will look to maintain their winning streak when they go up against Arad, who are yet to win a match, at 7pm, before Gudaibiya-Hoora face Karzakan at 8pm.
The qualification battle will be between Karzakan and Gudaibiya-Hoora as both teams are levelled on three points each.
