THE Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) Indo-Bahrain Dance and Music Festival will continue under a revised schedule next month.
The grand finale of the 12-day extravaganza, which was organised under the patronage of the Indian Embassy in association with Soorya Stage and Film Society and support from the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, was rescheduled following the death of UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The festivities, which are being staged at the society’s auditorium in Segaiya, will feature world-renowned Sarod trio Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Aman Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash on June 10 at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, Veena (one of the oldest Indian string instruments) exponent Rajesh Vaidhya and his team Bhuvanesh, Kumaran, Mohan and Sai Hari will perform on June 12 at 8pm.
