London: A shocking video released by Islamist State group reportedly shows a British child executing a Kurdish fighter by shooting him in the back of the head.
The video allegedly shows the children of foreign fighters as they hold pistols to the back of the heads of captured Kurdish fighters.
The boy second from right appears to be white, no more than 11-year-old, and is reportedly from Britain.
Site Intel Group identified the children as being British, Egyptian, Kurdish, Tunisian and Uzbek.
A report on terrorism compiled by Europol identified approximately 50 British children living with IS in the war-torn region.
IS notoriously has a dedicated wing for children known as the Caliphate Cubs – image of which showed jihadi juniors flaunting weapons likes a toys.
During the clip – which is believed to have been filmed in Raqqa – the five young fighters make statements in Arabic.
They then place handguns to the backs of the captured Kurds heads before pulling the trigger.
The alleged British boy's weapon appears to jam and the youngster smiles before the video cuts a disturbing close up of the execution.
The clip is featured in a nine minute propaganda pacakge which also includes graphic imagery of destroyed buildings, dead bodies and a montage of past executions.
The shocking video comes as IS faces being battled back in Syria and Iraq.
Turkey launched an offensive in northern Syria earlier this week, while Iraqi army forces bear down in the cult near the captured city of Mosul.
