Saudi customs foil bid to smuggle 93,094 amphetamine pills in spare tyre

Riyadh: The Saudi customs foiled an attempt to smuggle 93,094 amphetamine pills through Al-Hudaitha check point.

The customs officers searched a truck during clearance for entry into Saudi Arabia and found the narcotics hidden in the spare tyre, reported local Arabic daily Sabq.

Al-Hudaitha Customs director-general Ibrahim Al-Enzi said that legal action has been initiated against the drug traffickers.
