Abu Dhabi: A Bangladeshi woman accused of murdering her Pakistani husband is all set to face trial in the Criminal Court in Sharjah, six years after the heinous crime was committed.
The suspect reportedly killed her husband, chopped his body into pieces and packed it in plastic bags and suitcase before dumping it in an industrial area.
The woman was reportedly helped by her former Bangladeshi husband, reported local Arabic daily Al-Ittihad.
She divorced her Bangladeshi husband after he discovered that she had an adulterous relationship with another man, a Pakistani.
The woman later married the Pakistani man who reportedly persuaded her into giving him AED14,000 and left for Pakistan claiming some emergency.
When he returned from Pakistan, the Bangladeshi woman discovered that he also had another wife in Pakistan, which he did not deny when confronted.
Perturbed by this, she reportedly plotted the murder of her Pakistani husband and convinced her former husband to help her get rid of him.
An inquiry revealed that she had attacked the man at her house in Al-Majaz.
She was helped by her former husband who had carried his dead body in the plastics bags and suitcase to dump it in an industrial area in Sharjah.
The Sharjah Police had arrested the killers 24 hours after the crime six years ago and they have since been awaiting trial.
