Georgetown, Guyana: Officials say Prince Harry will make his first official visit to several Caribbean nations later this year when some of them will be celebrating the anniversaries of their independence from the United Kingdom.
Guyana British High Commissioner Greg Quinn says the prince will travel to that country, which is Britain's largest former colony in the Caribbean. Kensington Palace said in a statement Monday that Harry also will visit Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Kitts, St Lucia and St Vincent on his trip in late fall.
Of those nations, the prince has previously paid an official visit only to Barbados, in 2010. The trip will coincide with independence celebrations in Antigua and Barbados.
