THE Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) Indo-Bahrain Dance and Music Festival will continue under a revised schedule this month.
The grand finale of the 12-day extravaganza, which was organised under the patronage of the Indian Embassy, in association with Soorya Stage and Film Society and support from the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, was rescheduled following the death of former UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The festivities, which are being staged at the society’s auditorium in Segaiya, will feature world-renowned Sarod trio Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Aman Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, tomorrow at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile, Veena (one of the oldest Indian string instruments) exponent Rajesh Vaidhya and his team Bhuvanesh, Kumaran, Mohan and Sai Hari will perform on Sunday at 8pm.
The event is being conducted in association with the Indian Embassy and the support of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
