Premier reviews Muharraq project plan

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa chaired a work meeting to follow up on the implementation stages of the Sa’ada (Happiness) project in Muharraq.

After reviewing the technical and architectural designs, he directed to tender the first phase of the project by the end of the first quarter of next year at the latest and ordered that the implementation should not exceed 18 months.

He also directed to put out the second and last phase of the project to tender by the end of the second quarter next year.

He directed the ministerial committee for construction and infrastructure to create a schedule for completion of the architectural designs of the project and take the necessary measures for land acquisition before March next year. 

He also directed the same committee to co-operate with competent parties to provide cash liquidity to ensure completion of each phase.

The Premier underlined the government’s keenness to carry out the services and development projects as scheduled in order to achieve
set goals. 

He also underscored the government’s keenness on providing citizens with all needed services and boosting their welfare, pointing out the government’s ambition to achieve citizens’ aspirations despite all challenges.
