The Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties decided, at its first meeting chaired by Supreme Council for Health chairman and Council’s head Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to form four work teams in charge of submitting a study on health specialties including family medicine, nursing, midwifery and private practice qualifications.
The meeting discussed the Arab Board’s proposed classification, co-ordination with health authorities and specialties in other GCC countries, including the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties .
