Eid Al Adha or Eid of sacrifice is an ethical backing for those pilgrims who pour into Mecca from every nook and corner of the world to perform Haj, the fifth pillar of Islam, in response to the proclamation of Prophet Ibrahim which dates back more than 4,000 years.
Both Eid Al Adha and Haj recall a link with Prophet Ibrahim, who built the Kaaba, and his son Prophet Ismail .
