BAHRAINI traditional craft workshops continue to attract youngsters from across the kingdom, eager to learn the trade in a bid to preserve the island’s heritage.The Young Artisan programme, that debuted in July by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (Baca), delights children aged seven to 11 in the basics of palm frond weaving, traditional chest making, gypsum engraving and pottery at Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre .
