A man in Nebraska decided to celebrate his 60th birthday in quite a unique fashion.
Duane Hansen took a 40 miles (64.3 km) trip down a river on a 383 kg pumpkin he nicknamed 'Berta'.
Hansen has been trying to grow a big pumpkin for nearly a decade with a specific goal in mind.
Once he had 'Berta' however, he put his plan into action. He hollowed out the pumpkin, put an empty water cooler inside it, and decided to float down a river in it.
Hansen was trying to "squash" the current world record for floating down a river in a pumpkin, which previously stood at 25 miles (40.2 km).

The entire trip took Hansen about 11 hours floating in his pumpkin, which started from Bellevue public boat docks to the marina in Nebraska City.
Although Bellevue City officials declared the record, Guinness World Records has not yet verified the attempt as an official record.
