Supreme Council for Youth and Sports assistant general secretary and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar said the committee is putting the final touches to the digital sports library project, which is expected to be launched soon.
Askar said the project is in compliance with the directives of His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports chairman and BOC president Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to shift to the more advanced digital technology for all its future operations.
This first-of-its-kind idea, which is supervised by BOC’s Information Technology director Nawaf Abdulrahman in cooperation with the sports training and development section, is regarded as one of the most anticipated projects, aimed to link science with sports.
