MINISTRY of Interior-3 ended the second day of the 19th Annual American Mission Hospital (AMH) Island Classic Charity Golf Tournament leading the Championship Flight (handicap 6 or under).
JBG-Papa John’s came in second place with AMH Amwaj finishing off the day’s activities in third.
The Premier Flight (average handicaps 6.1 or over) saw E.K. Kanoo 2 top the table, with DHL 2 and E.K. Kanoo 1 coming in second and third places respectively.
Ministry of Interior-3 are overall leaders in the Championship Flight with JBG- Papa Johns and E.K. Kanoo 1 in second and third places.
In the Premier Flight E.K. Kanoo sit on top of the table, followed by DHL 2 in second place and DHL 1 third.
The side contests of the morning flight saw Rob Lane claim the Closest to the Pin award on Hole-6. Pat McKenna won the Most Accurate Drive on Hole-8 while Iftikhar Butt was awarded for the Longest Putt on Hole-4.
The afternoon flight saw Mohammed Al Fedhala claim the Closest to the Pin on Hole-6 with Frank Cunningham claiming the Most Accurate Drive on Hole-8 and Serwin Rampersad winning the Longest Putt on Hole-4.
The tournament takes place at the Private Golf Course of His Majesty King Hamad in Saffriya.

Kanoo 1, Aer Rianta International, AMH Manama, Coca Cola, AMA Motors, Mohammed Jalal Catering, DHL 2, JBG-Papa Johns, RCSI Bahrain, E.K. Kanoo 2, Royal Golf Club 1 and AMH Amwaj. Sultanies, U.S. Embassy, BHUK200 and Ministry of Interior-3 took part as Independents.
