FORMER Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal is set to perform in Bahrain next week.
He will perform on November 11 at Bahrain International Circuit during the 16th HOG Mena Rally and third HOG Bahrain Rally taking place from November 10 to 12.
The concert will also see Dubai-based rock powerhouse Point of View on stage, as well as popular local rock band Hot Laser.
Bumblefoot whose real name is Ronald Jay Blumenthal was one of two lead guitarists in the Guns N’ Roses from 2006 to 2014 and he performed on their sixth studio album Chinese Democracy.
Currently, the guitarist is in American hard rock super group Art of Anarchy and Metal Allegiance.
More than 5,000 Harley Davidson riders and motorcycle enthusiasts from across the Middle East and North Africa region are expected at the annual event.

Following the concert, fans will have the opportunity to spend an inspirational evening with the man himself during a guitar workshop at Malja Bahrain, Amwaj Islands on November 12.
Guests will hear stories from Bumblefoot’s career and learn about his unique guitar styles, plus there will be an acoustic jam session.
Local talented guitarist Mohammed Rashid from Brother Band will also participate in the event.
The evening which begins at 4pm, is organised by Clockwork together with Room 2 Rock, Tariq Pastries Bahrain and Malja.
