Kuwait: The police busted a secret multi-million liquor business run by a Kuwaiti and an Iranian, reported Al Qabas.
The anti-narcotics and liquor squads arrested the duo and seized 15,000 cartons containing 180,000 bottles of smuggled liqour worth KD15 million.
The thirty-seven-year-old Kuwaiti and his Iranian accomplice, aged 41, were arrested red-handed as they were selling 70 cartons worth KD57,000 to undercover officers.
The unemployed Kuwaiti suspect has been involved in many criminal cases.
The Iranian who lives in Kuwait as a businessman concealed the huge stock of liquor in a warehouse located in Al-Salibiya district.
