Muscat: Fees levied on work visas issued to expatriates will be increased by 50 per cent in Oman.
The Ministry of Manpower announced the new fee hike on its Twitter account. It will take immediate effect after the law is published in the official gazette.
Private sector employers will now be required to pay OMR301 per new or renewed visa, up from the current fee of OMR201.
