Riyadh: Four terrorists accused of plotting to assassinate former Saudi monarch King Abdulla bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Saud are standing trial for the second time.
The High Court overruled the previous verdict and ordered a new trial for the Al-Qaida members who planned to murder the Saudi leader during his visit to the Al-Qasim region.
Inquiry revealed that the defendants had plotted to carry out a suicide explosion.
They have also been charged with establishing contacts with other Saudi fugitives while in Iran and funding terror operations.
