DEENA Rahman scored four goals for Venus Tekkers to register a 7-0 victory over Arsenal in the quarter-final of the Bahrain Football Associations (BFA) women’s Cup held at the outdoor pitches of the association.
Deena’s goals were accompanied by goals from Sara Al Aali, Aada Bsheiry and Lamees Saqer, who scored one each to take Venus Tekkers to the semi-final.
The other quarter-final games saw Blue Pearls also register a big 12-0 win over Falcons.
The last game of the night was the most intense between Ravens and Eastern Flames. Ravens managed to score a last-minute goal for a 2-1 victory against Eastern Flames.
The fourth team in the semi-final is going to be Talent, who qualified after their Seef Dental forfeit their game.
The semi-final draw will take place this week, while Wednesday will see the teams resume their league fixtures.
The games will see Falcons go up against Talent, while fans are expecting a derby game between first-placed Venus Tekkers and second-placed Blue Pearls.
Eastern Flames will have a tough challenge as they play Seef Dental, while Ravens and Arsenal will go head to head to conclude the week six games.
