The road to Brave 2: Dynasty is approaching the final stage and to kick off the fight week crescendo, it’s Open Workout time today at 6pm at Orange Suites.
All 10 fighters competing in Friday’s main card will be there to showcase some of their tricks and the results of a long, hard fight camp.
Fight enthusiasts can check out the event headliners Gadzhimusa Gaziev and Carl Booth from Dagestan, Russia and Nottingham, England respectively, who will show some of the flashy combinations they may be using on the night, or perhaps the right hand which will seal the fate of one of these stars.
One can also can get a close look at the undefeated juggernaut Ottman Azaitar, whose right hand has already sealed the fate of many of his victims. Ottman’s opponent, Argentinian Kevin Koldobsky, nicknamed ‘El General’, will no doubt show some of the flamboyant striking skills he has acquired by training at the infamous SBG Ireland Gym, to add to his already very sound ground game.
Also present and taking part in the training are Bahraini Hamza Kooheji, Filipino Jeremy Pacatiw, Swedish Erik Carlsson, Jordanian Jarrah Alselawi, American Walel Watson and Algerian Elias Boudegzdame.
Due to popular demand from the Indian MMA scene in Bahrain, Indian star Gurdarshan Mangat will also showcase his skills and some of the techniques he learned in one of the world’s most famous training centres, Tristar Gym.
The Open Workout will show in the flesh the multicultural phenomenon which President Mohammed Shahid promised when he announced the birth of Brave.
The Open Workout today will be the first opportunity for fans to get close to the global superstars.
President of Brave, Shahid, said: “This fight week is going to be a festival for the people of Bahrain. Pre-fight hype and excitement will be floating around Bahrain.
