Bahrain Elite Swim Team claimed 71 medals in the Qatar Autumn Short Course Swimming Championship at the Hamad Aquatic Centre, Doha.
The competition hosted 30 individual events and eight relays with over 300 swimmers from Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE in the fray.
The 24 swimmers from the Elite Team won 31 gold medals with Ariana Lewis topping the list with nine.
Rebecca Carpenter bagged eight gold, Mikita Sharapau six and Ahmed Abdulnabi four.
In addition, hundreds of new personal best times were recorded.
Many of these swimmers will now be competing in the Sixth Bahrain International National Day Swimming Championship to be held in Isa Town from Thursday to Saturday.
