Doha: The State of Qatar and the Republic of Nicaragua today initiated an air service agreement to open the airspace between the two countries, allowing the operation of any number of passenger and cargo flights with full transport rights.
The agreement was signed by HE Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Abdullah bin Nasser Turki Al Subaey and the Director of Nicaragua's Civil Aviation Authority Carlos Salazar Sanchez.
Initiating the agreement as well as other agreements and memoranda of understanding came on the sideline of the Qatari delegation's participation in the International Civil Aviation Negotiation (ICAN) Conference, currently underway in the Bahamas.
