Kuwaiti MPs and citizens staged a peaceful sit-in in front of the Russian Embassy calling on the international community to end the bloodshed in war-torn Aleppo.

MPs urged major powers, the United Nations, the Arab League and the Origanisation of Islamic Cooperation to stop the genocide, protect civilians from massacre and dispatch humanitarian relief aid to the besieged Syrian city.

The protestors held banners with slogans condemning Russia and Iran, urging an end to the bloodshed to protect civilians and save children and women who are living in tragic conditions.

The Ministry of Interior authorized the protest at the embassies area in the district of Al-Daiya, urging compliance with the rules and regulations.
