Riyadh: A Saudi national is sentenced to four years in prison for supporting Al-Qaida and the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.
A court convicted him of communicating with Al-Qaida members through WhatsApp and Skype, reported Okaz.
He was also found guilty of storing pictures and videos of former Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden and posting tweets in which he expressed loyalty to IS group.
The court banned him from travelling abroad for four years on serving his jail term and ordered the confiscation of his cellphone.
