An Asian woman who was murdered by her Saudi husband at their home in Al-Taif was nine months pregnant, it has been revealed.
The knife used by the killer in stabbing his wife ripped through her stomach and reached the female foetus, causing its death, sources told Arabic daily Okaz.
The Saudi man, in his thirties, repeatedly stabbed his wife Zahra Abdulrazzaq Daleel, before slitting her throat in front of their three children Raed, Fares and Rahf.

The man's clothes were still stained with his wife’s blood as the police arrested him and transferred him to competent authorities.
Initial reports revealed that the killer, a former government employee, had previously undergone treatment at a psychiatric hospital in Al-Taif.
The couple's son Raed who was deeply traumatised after witnessing the murder is reportedly still tearfully repeating, "Dad killed Mum".
The coroner who conducted a post mortem on the woman’s corpse reported 15 wounds in various parts of her body, including her back, hand and abdomen.
