Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held a session of talks with Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir, at his palace.
The two leaders discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields and reviewed the developments in regional and international arenas.
The Saudi monarch and Sudanese president then attended the signing of a framework memorandum of understanding on the financing a project for providing drinking water in rural areas of Sudan.
The framework memorandum of understanding was co-signed by Vice President and Managing Director of Saudi Fund for Development Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Sudanese Minister of State and Director of the President's Office Taha Osman Al-Hussein.
The talks session and signing ceremony were attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor of Riyadh, and a number of senior officials.
