KHK MMA members across Bahrain will be taking part in Bahrain Sports Day next month in support of the efforts to popularise mixed martial arts in the region.
The KHK MMA team has been hard at work with preparations for the event, and have finalised the day’s exciting schedule. The full day of entertainment will include live festivities, MMA challenges, fight techniques and, last but not least, a fight tournament where you can watch real MMA action live and loud.
The day starts at 10am with live on site face-offs at the MMA tournament public weigh-ins, followed by an early training session alongside KHK MMA instructors.
At 1pm, MMA gyms from across Bahrain will meet to demonstrate some of the most exciting martial arts techniques. At 2pm, you will have the opportunity to put your skills and endurance to the test and challenge some of the best KHK MMA professional MMA fighters.
Spectacle
At the end of the day, you will be treated to a MMA spectacle organised by Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF) where some of the best talent from MMA schools of the kingdom will showcase their skills inside the cage.
Participating athletes include 18-year-old Nayef Fekry, KHK MMA Yousef Mohammed at 14, and Maher Khaled (18) and Yousef Waleed (16) who both took part in the latest ‘Bahrain Vs. India’ MMA event. Besides, fans will have a chance to get 50 per cent off the next Brave event entry, in addition to one week free training at Bahrain MMA, where they will can learn from professional fighters who have mastered the philosophy of martial arts.
Bahrain Sports Day is organised in line with the GCC national Olympic committees’ decision to host a unified day of sports and entertainment across the Gulf.
The multi-sporting event is set to cover all four governorates of the kingdom.
