Cairo: Argentinian soccer superstar Lionel Messi will pay a visit to Egypt tomorrow (Tuesday) to launch the campaign 'Tour n' Cure', an initiative that promotes a new treatment for hepatitis C virus.
The FC Barcelona star player is scheduled to visit the pyramids Giza during his one-day visit to the country.
The organisers of the campaign aim to attract 120 thousand tourists from Britain, Spain, Italy, France, Russia, Malaysia and Turkey to get the treatment. Messi will highlight Egypt-led efforts to treat patient suffering from hepatitis C virus.
Messi's visit to Egypt was delayed last week after Barcelona suffered a 4-0 defeat to French club Paris Saint-Germain.
