NEW laws will be drawn up to handle cases related to civilians involved in attacks on security forces once MPs and the Shura Council approve Constitutional amendments, said Interior Ministry assistant under-secretary Brigadier Mohammed Buhamood.
Speaking at a special extraordinary parliament session yesterday, he pointed out that children aged below 16 were treated as juveniles who can’t be tried in military courts, while those aged 16 to 18 were treated as special case .
