BAHRAIN Billawas edged out Kannada Church Bahrain (KCB) to clinch a berth in the pre-quarter-finals of the Indian Expats Seven-a-side Softball Cricket Tournament for the Kannada Sangha Champions Trophy.
Batting first, KCB scored 43 for three wickets with Akash (18, 15 balls, 1x4) and Sunil (6) the main contributors.
In reply, Billawas got to a shaky start. But captain Charan played with responsibility scoring an unbeaten 10-ball 13* (1x4) to lead his team to victory. He was well supported by Sanketh with an unbeaten five-ball 10* (1x6).
