Dubai: UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum launched an unprecedented initiative to attract Arabs who dedicated to serving humanity.
The ‘ArabHopeMakers’ was unveiled on a website portal which was launched to promote the initiative www.ArabHopeMakers.com.
Shaikh Mohammed posted a tweet saying, “We are looking for Hope Makers in our Arab World”.
The initiative made headlines from the minute it was launched, as Arabs responded on social media websites hailing the humanitarian move.
The initiative is open to all Arabs from all age categories – from the age of five to 95 years. Institutions can also take part in the initiative and apply along with individuals.
Eligible candidates should be dedicated to serving people, have at least one personal initiative in promoting voluntary work or a humanitarian and charity act which makes people happy.
Potential candidates should also have good reputation (social and human behaviour) and has a positive belief in the Arabs’ competence and potential.
Applications shall be forwarded via initiative website.
The selected candidates will receive bonuses and benefits which amount to AED 1 million.
