Riyadh: Saudi customs announced they have foiled two attempts to smuggle 120 bottles of branded liquor via the King Fahd Causeway.
Two privately-owned cars heading to Saudi Arabia were searched by officers leading to the discovery 60 bottles of liquor hidden in the engine and oil tank of each vehicle, according to a report in Alriyadh.
Causeway Customs Director-General Dhaifallah Al-Otaibi said the drivers of the two vehicles had been arrested and referred to competent authorities.
