A group of leading Saudi businessmen have reportedly bought stakes in Liverpool Football Club.
According to British daily The Mirror, the Saudi investors will arrive in Britain to announce the deal which makes them minority stakeholders in the legendary British club.
The report said that Saudi Al-Nasr Club President Prince Faisal bin Turki is among the businessmen who will seal the transaction.
However, the club’s newspaper Liverpool Echo said that the Saudi investments would not be pumped directly into the club, but through New Palace company, the kit-supplier of the team.
