Kuwait City: Egypt has named an avenue in Sharm Al-Shaikh tourism resort after the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah in recognition of his humanitarian stances, reported Al Rai.
Southern Sinai Governor Major General Khalid Fouda unveiled the commemorative plaque, in the presence of the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Cairo Mohammed Al Dhouaikh and other diplomatic and political personalities and leading figures.
Late UAE President Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and King of Bahrain His Majesty King Hamad have also avenues named after them.
