ALL roads lead to Abu Dhabi for the launch of Brave Combat Federation Championship fourth edition tomorrow.
Organised by Brave Combat Federation born from Khalid bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts Organisation (KHK MMA), the event will take place at IPIC Arena in Zayed Sports City.
Brave was established by the First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth, Honourary President of the Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Founder of Khalid bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts Organisation (KHK MMA), Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, last September in Bahrain.
The KHK MMA CEO and Brave Combat Federation president, Mohamed Shahid, said: “We are happy with the hosting of the fourth edition of Brave in the UAE capital, which comes as part of the federation’s plan set up by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, aimed at launching the championship worldwide by hosting it in various capitals and cities around the globe.
“This will be an opportunity to showcase this experience and the success it achieves thanks to the support by His Highness to this sport.”
He added: “The efforts of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa to this sport locally has a clear effect on the results and honourable achievements in various international participations and championships, which led His Highness to push the Brave initiative as the first international championship organised by the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Middle East and international level.
“This has contributed to the championship receiving wide praise from the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF), several international organisations of this sport, attract the strongest and professional fighters, as well as win over millions of fans around the world.”
He pointed out that Brave Combat Federation is seeking to translate the directives of Shaikh Khalid for Brave to become number one at the level of professional MMA Championships.
Shahid thanked Shaikh Khalid for trusting the members of Brave Combat Federation and the president and members of the UAE Jiu Jitsu Federation for their cooperation to this championship.
