A Kuwaiti businessmen who was murdered in Istanbul, Turkey, was laid to rest in Sulabkhat cemetery.
Senior officials, MPs, leading personalities and citizens took part in the funeral of Mohammed Meta’ab Al-Shelahi.
Shelahi and his Iranian friend, Said Karimian, were reportedly heading to a restaurant for dinner when armed assailants attacked their car and shot them.
Karimian was a member of the Iranian opposition who owns anti-Iranian TV channels and other media outlets, including General Entertainment and Media company.
46-year-old Shelahi arrived in Istanbul from Dubai to negotiate the sale of some real estate properties he owned in Turkey.
He is is survived by six children.
