A Syrian girl who was kidnapped by a Saudi woman in Riyadh has been reunited with her family, according to Jazirah newspaper.
The 23-year-old woman abducted Shawq Suleiman Ibrahim from a shopping centre last night.
The police launched a manhunt after her Syrian father Suleiman Al Zuweil lodged a complaint, reporting his missing daughter.
A CCTV video recording showed the abductor luring the two-year-old out of the shopping outlet.
She confessed to kidnapping Shawq and taking her to a flat “for a particular purpose”.
The abductor has been remanded in a women-only prison pending investigation. A man who is believed to be involved in the kidnapping was also arrested.
