Kuwait City: A Bedouin family of five were arrested at the Kuwait International Airport with fake passports while attempting to leave the country.
According to Kuwait Times, they were taken to Jleeb Al- Shuyoukh police station after airport authorities found that they were travelling on fake European passports.
The family consists of a man his wife and their three children, two daughters and a teenage son.
When questioned, the father said he received the passports through an embassy. On verification, it was revealed that the documents provided were forged.
Later, he added that he was approached by a man who offered to get him foreign passports to which he agreed. However he denied any knowledge of the fact that the passports were fake.
