RIYADH: Sunday’s summit between the GCC leaders and US President Donald Trump reflects the bloc’s pivotal role in consolidating regional peace and security, Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said yesterday. He was speaking at a meeting he chaired of GCC foreign ministers to prepare for the summit to be held in Riyadh. Talks also reviewed preparations for the GCC leaders’ consultative meeting as well as GCC-Arab-Islamic Summit withthe US to be held during the American leader’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
