BATELCO Gunners United came from behind to beat Nomas 3-1 last night in the Nasser 10 Football Tournament at the Khalifa Sports City Football Stadium in Isa Town.
Fernandes found the net for Nomas with five minutes to go for the break, but the victors scored three goals within 17 minutes to seal three points.
The first round of the group stages will end today with two matches to be held in Group 4.
In the first match, Al Zilzal take on Al Fukhar at 5.50pm. It will be followed by a match between Al Zaeem and Al Husan Al Aswad.
On Monday night, Al Nawayef defeated Forever 1-0 with the winning goal scored in the last 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, the organisers have announced that one car will be raffled at the end of the second round of the group stage. The second car will be raffled at the end of the third round of the group stage while two lucky winners will drive away two cars at the end of the quarter-finals.
Two cars will be raffled in the semi-finals while four cars will be given away in the final match.
All 10 cars are being provided by Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Company.
