The authorities in Oman shut down a water-bottling company for endangering public health, according to Oman Daily Observer newspaper.
The company, which is based in the South-Eastern Governorate, was found in breach of the rules on protecting consumers’ safety and health.
The hygiene inspectors also confiscated and destroyed 8,160 200ml bottles which were found in breach of water-bottling standards.
