A periodical on combating human trafficking was launched in Dubai, according to Al Bayan newspaper.
The initiative is the brainchild of the Dubai Police Human Trafficking Crime Control Centre (HTCCC).
The first issue of Kurrasat was published under the theme “Means of Investigating Human Trafficking Crimes”.
“The 121-page big format document represents a thorough scientific guide detailing legal tools to scrutinise human trafficking crimes, including intricate cases,” said HTCCC director Colonel Abdulrahman Al Shaer.
The periodical contains scientific articles which analyse human trafficking crimes written by regional and international legal experts and specialists.
Colonel Al Shaer affirmed strenuous efforts to combat human trafficking crimes, adding that the UAE ranks first among Arab states whose laws prohibit slavery and human trafficking.
