A number of parked vehicles were badly damaged in a Saudi province after border shelling from neighbouring Yemen, according to Almowaten newspaper.
A military projectile launched by Houthi rebels from Yemeni territory hit a residential area in the city of Najran.
Flying shrapnel due to the shelling damaged parked cars but there were no human casualties, said Najran Civil Defence official spokesman Captain Abdulkhaliq Ali Al Qahtani.
