12 people killed, 52 injured in road accidents during Eid holidays

Twelve people were killed during the Eid Al Fitr holidays across the United Arab Emirates, according to Al Bayan newspaper.

The traffic police surveyed 37 road accidents during the five-day Eid recess, which ran from June 23 until last Tuesday.

According to statistics released by the General Directorate for Traffic Co-ordination, an offshoot of the Interior Ministry, road accidents during the aforementioned period left 52 people injured.
