First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, and Captain of Al Khalidiya stables Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa congratulated Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Captain of the Bahrain Royal Endurance Team Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa on the occasion of Hamad Janahi winning the title in the Argenton Race held in France.
Janahi, riding his horse Sameera, clocked 06:24.57 hours at a speed of 20 kilometres to dominate the 130-km event and qualify for the World Youth Championship set to be held in Italy.
Shaikh Khalid congratulated Janahi for his victory in the race where the world’s top jockeys took part, saying it enhanced Bahrain’s position worldwide in the sport of equestrian and endurance.

He thanked His Majesty King Hamad for his support to the sport that led to Bahrain riders’ strong performances and great successes in various international events.
“His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has played a prominent role in translating the visions and directives of His Majesty the King in order to support the Bahraini endurance sport in reaching this great position. The efforts HH put into it was the main reason behind the Royal Endurance Team achieving many of the honourable results at international events,” Shaikh Khalid said.
Shaikh Khalid also congratulated Mohammad Al Miqdad and Mohammed Abdul Samad for finishing third and fifth, respectively.
He praised the efforts of the team’s technical and administrative staff, wishing them more successes in upcoming events.
