The United Arab Emirates Cabinet has approved a terror list as per ministerial edict 18 of 2017, issued by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktmoum.
The edict which will be published in the UAE Federal Official Gazette includes 59 terrorists and 12 terror entities.
Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain had issued a joint statement adding 59 individuals and 12 groups to their respective terror lists which will be updated and announced.
The move is in compliance with the commitment of the four countries to combat terrorism, root out terror funding and clampdown on extremist ideologies to protect their societies.
