An innovative approach to education and communication between school and home is being implemented by AMA International School.

The school will soon launch U-Campus enterprise resource planning (ERP), a web-based school software.

The application runs on browser and can be downloaded for free on smartphones through iOS App Store and Google Play.

A unique username and password will be given to teachers, students and parents that will have unique access.

Teachers will be able to upload lecture, assign exams, view exam results, video view conferencing, assignment uploading and query solving.

Students will be able to do their online exams, view lectures, video conferencing, assignment submissions and query uploading.

The app will also allow parents to view their child’s performance and attendance.

It will also feature faculty chat and SMS that will give updates for the parents as the new security system has a student entrance recognition that enable the parents to be notified whether their child went to school and left the school after the class.

In addition, for ease of transactions, payments for school fees can be paid now online.

AMA International School Bahrain will be the first school in Bahrain to implement this kind of advance technology.
