Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, praised Bahrain national team cyclist Razan Mohammed Subh for winning a bronze medal in the individual race for women under 23 in the Asian Cycling Championship.
Shaikh Nasser received Subh in presence of Bahrain Cycling Association (BCA) Board of Directors member Ahmed Al Buainain and coach Munir bin Jarida.
His Highness congratulated them on this achievement in the championship where world-class cyclists took part, wishing Subh success in the coming competitions.
Shaikh Nasser also commended the efforts of BCA president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Board of Directors members, and all workers within the association who toiled to provide the best atmosphere for cyclists.
For her part, Subh expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Shaikh Nasser for the unlimited support he provides to all athletes in the Kingdom of Bahrain paving the way for success in various sports.
She vowed to continue working hard to earn more achievements and raise the flag of Bahrain in international competitions.
Shaikh Nasser also affirmed his continued support to all athletes to enable them to reap more achievements in tournaments abroad. He also stressed the importance of providing facilities and services to sports associations to develop the skills and capabilities of Bahraini athletes.
