The kitchen sponge
Despite being dipped in soapy water many times the kitchen sponge is loaded with bacteria.
It is probably one of the dirtiest things in your house.
Sponges usually are warm, wet and always have traces of food on them which is a breeding ground for bacteria.
It is recommended to use bleach to clean your sponge at least once a week.
Grocery cart handles
Grocery cart is used by so many people who haven't washed their hands, handled food (including raw meat) and all those bacteria can be easily transferred from hands to carts and vice-versa.
It could be also be reason for food poisoning among children who ride in these carts.
Your bed
You do not realise but you need to keep bed sheets clean and wash them once a week according to experts.
Humans are warm and sweat a lot which is ideal for bacteria or fungal growth.
Your skin particles rub off on the sheets and come in contact with everything during the day.
Door handles/Doorknobs
It is one of the places where you will find lot of bacteria and it is one of the easiest way to transfer any virus or bacteria as everyone uses them.

Your bathroom is warm and moist and your toothbrush holder pick up whatever bacteria is in the bathroom.
Your smartphone:
We use our phone so frequently and would keep touching the screen quiet a number of times and sometime just give an occasional T-shirt wipe would probably clean it.
It is a common place where you can find bacteria and virus as well as fecal matter on your phones.
You need to clean your phone more often with a microfiber to remove most of the bacteria.
Towel in your kitchen
It is the same towel you use to dry your hands and probably have the same problem like sponge.
It is damp, warm and also comes in contact with food. Wash these towels more often to keep it free from bacteria.
